The dates shown are all Sunday to Sunday, but there can be considerable flexibility on the start and finish days if flight availability or other constrictions apply. If travelling here by car, look to arrive late Sunday morning (parking available). If travelling by air, Birmingham airport is the easiest option for transfers. Look to arrive as early as possible, then try to book departures late afternoon the following Sunday.
Our first two weeks in April and May may still call for long sleeves and knee warmers first thing, but Spring will have sprung in the local countryside. These weeks fall between the Easter and Spring half term school holidays, so the local attractions will be open, but relatively quiet.
The last week of June should be perfect cycling weather. With it staying light well into the evening, we could consider riding out to local country pubs for dinner and a pint.
The July week coincides with the last week of the Tour de France. All back to the Cyclists Lounge each evening to watch the days highlights?
The August week may be the best for those used to warmer climes (that might be most of you!).
The September week may (subject to confirmation) coincide with two major events. The Tour of Britain is usually around this time and could give us an opportunity to ride to a viewing point. More importantly, the Leamington Food Festival will be in town and well worth a visit.
